This privacy statement covers the site www.luxedo.com.
Luxedo.com has not and will not ever sell, rent or lease
personally identifiable information collected at the site with any third-parties.
Luxedo.com does need to provide certain information to
various travel providers, mainly hotels, in
the normal course of completing travel arrangements for you. Because we want to demonstrate our commitment
to your privacy, our information practices are disclosed
in full below.
Information Collection
Most of the Luxedo.com website can be accessed without providing any personally identifiable information (PII). This includes information that can be linked to an individual such as a name or email address. Before making a hotel reservation, we require that you become a Luxedo.com Member. At this point you are asked to provide your name, email address (which becomes your Member ID) and a password. When confirming a reservation, you are asked for your credit card details as a guarantee.

Luxedo.com also collects PII when you contact us with feedback, questions about our service or in relation to a reservation.
Cookies
When you visit Luxedo.com we collect information about your computer and store it in a "cookie".
A cookie is a piece of data stored on your computer
that does not contain any PII while
on our site. We use session cookies to help you interact with the website, and to track certain website referrer information, but
only for aggregate use. Once you leave the site or close the browser, the cookie simply terminates after 30 minutes.
In order to make reservations at Luxedo.com, you need to first become a Member. On future visits, you will be automatically recognised as that member through use of a permanent cookie. Your email address, which is your Member ID, is stored in this cookie and is retrieved when you visit the site. This permanent cookie will remain on your computer until you delete it.
You have the option to not receive a cookie by enabling this option in your browser. Unlike many other sites, you will still be able to complete reservations at Luxedo.com if you do not accept cookies.
Luxedo.com does not let any third-parties place cookies on your computer while at our site.
Log Files
Like most standard website servers we use log files. This includes
internet protocol (IP) addresses, browser type, internet service
provider (ISP), referring/exit pages, platform type, date/time
stamp, and number of clicks to analyze trends, administer the
site, track user’s movement in the aggregate, and gather
broad demographic information for aggregate use. IP addresses,
etc. are not linked to PII.
Information Sharing
In order to complete a reservation on your behalf, we need to share certain PII with travel providers. Luxedo.com does not share this information with any third-party apart from these travel providers. Aggregate information,
which is collected by cookies and log files, is used for marketing
purposes and is never linked to PII.
Aggregate information may occasionally be shared with a third-party.
Legal Disclaimer
Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, we may
need to disclose PII when required by law wherein
we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to
comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or
legal process served on our Website. Luxedo.com has not
been required to do so to date.
Business Transitions
In the event Luxedo.com goes through a business transition,
such as a merger, being acquired by another company, or selling
a portion of its assets, your PII will,
in most instances, be part of the assets transferred. You
will be notified via email prior to a change of ownership or
control of your PII.
If as a result of the business transition, your PII will be used in a manner
different from that stated at the time of collection you will
be given choice consistent with our notification of changes
section.
Third Party Advertising
Luxedo.com has never, and does not intend to display any
advertising, including third-party advertising, at the Website.
Communications from Luxedo.com
When you make a reservation with us we will email you with an itinerary to confirm the details of the booking.
We may also need to contact you by phone (if provided), to clarify aspects of a booking, although this need is rare. We will also reply via email or phone to questions or feedback that you may initiate.

Luxedo.com takes every precaution to protect your PII, both online and offline.
While we use SSL encryption to protect PII
online, we also do everything in our power to protect offline PII.
Only employees who need the information to perform a specific
job (for example, our travel consultants or a customer service
representative) are granted access to PII. Our employees use password protected screensavers
when they leave their desk. When they return, they must re-enter
their password to regain access to user information. Furthermore, all employees are kept up-to-date on our security
and privacy practices. Finally, the servers that store PII are in a robust, secure environment.
Amending your PII

or if you wish to delete your membership, you can email our Customer Support

Notification of Changes
If we decide to change our privacy policy, we will post those
changes to this privacy statement, the homepage, and other places
we deem appropriate so you are always aware of what information
we collect, how we use it, and under what circumstances, if
any, we disclose it. We will use information in accordance with
the privacy policy under which the information was collected.
If, however, we are going to use your PII in a manner different from that stated at the time
of collection we will notify you via email. You will have
a choice as to whether or not we use your information in this
different manner.
