The 1909 Nob Hill landmark is home to The Ritz Carlton San Francisco, the only hotel in North America to capture Mobil's Five Stars and AAA's Five Diamonds for both the hotel and its renowned Dining Room. According the 2004 Zagat Survey, surveyors swoon over this "top of Nob Hill haven... a luxurious yet relaxed atmosphere that feels like the home of a rich friend".
Accommodation
Each of the guest rooms and suites feature luxury appoitments and furnishings with feather beds and 300 thread count Egyptian cotton Frette linen. The Club Level, named "Best in America" in Andrew Harper's Hideaway Report, provides guests with a dedicated concierge, private key access and a private Club Lounge with continuous complimentary food and beverage presentations.
Dining
The Dining Room is named one of the top 50 Hotel Restaurants in the U.S. Chef Sylvain Portay's superb New French fare rivals Paris' finest, with service that sets the standard others are urged to emulate. In celebration of the busy theatre season, Chef Portay has introduced a three-course menu for $68. You can also enjoy alfresco dining in the beautifully landscaped Terrace Courtyard and The Lobby Lounge with an elegant variety of foods. |
